Whether it was as CEO of Coupe Public Relations, Inc. or as Director of Communications for a leading publicly traded company, Doug’s tenacity, entrepreneurial spirit and highly regarded people skills have earned him great respect from the companies he has worked for, his many clients, as well as a substantial segment of the media. Everyone whom he works with quickly recognizes that all efforts will be undertaken to connect their unique message with their intended recipients.
Doug is certainly no stranger to the public arena. In a ‘previous life’, Doug experienced great success during his time as a member of the Screen Actors Guild as an actor in the film and television industry. He has acted in hit television shows in addition to having appeared in a wide array of commercials, music videos and print campaigns.
Having transitioned from one side of the camera to the other, Doug’s breadth of production experience includes producing television commercials, corporate videos, music videos, web-series, short films and feature films. Most recently he served as a Producer with Charliewood Pictures on the company’s award-winning feature film WARRIOR ROAD and its highly acclaimed short documentary film THE SANDS OF TIME.
Doug’s experience in the entertainment industry has benefitted him and those whom he works with well. He has no problem tracking down unique opportunities for all of those savvy enough to benefit from his efforts.
Doug is a graduate of Bates College where he earned an Economics degree. A team guy all the way, Doug played varsity football and also captained the Bates lacrosse squad. He resides on the coast of South Carolina with his wife Edie and their two children.
